Abdullah Najjar is the current youth director at Tawasaw Institute in the San Francisco Bay Area and former assistant Imam & youth director at the American Muslim Institute. He is currently a graduate student of Religious Studies at Chicago Theological Seminary. He previously completed 2 years of law school in Houston, focusing on civil and human rights. His Islamic education includes studies with institutions like Mishkah University, Al-Salam Institute, Al Maghrib, Al Kauthar, Qalam, Bayyinah, and Islamic Online University (Diploma).

Community Impact & Leadership

Abdullah has been actively serving the Muslim community for over 20 years — teaching and mentoring more than 1,000 students one-on-one. He has spoken at major universities including John Hopkins University, Harvard, Berkeley, Emory, Rice, University of Pennsylvania and Vanderbilt, and at high schools and masjids across the U.S. He has helped raise hundreds of thousands for charities like Islamic Relief and Human Concern International, and has campaigned for Muslim candidates and lobbied over 50 politicians on issues like Palestine, prison conditions, and school bullying.

Supporting Muslim Brands

Abdullah has worked in advertising, brokering, marketing, and sales for muslim brands such as: Layne’s, Black Seed Oil Gummies, Penny Appeal USA, Human Concern International, Fawakih, and Mecca Digital. He has built a social media influencer network with over 100 million combined followers. He has been featured by a Harvard documentary, PBS, NPR, NRG Radio, university publications, and local TV. He has spoken at major conventions like ICNA Houston and the Texas Dawah Convention.
